EXPERT TINTING & PROTECTION FOR YOUR CAR, HOME, AND BUSINESS
Welcome, we’re Chase and Madison, and we opened Black Optix Tint right here in Fort Myers because we believed Southwest Florida deserved a tint and wrap shop that actually takes the time to get to know you. We are not a place that grabs your keys and calls you when the vehicle is done. We’ve created a business where you walk in and feel like family. We’ve trained a team who asks the right questions, listens to the answers, and doesn’t rest until we’ve checked every single box.
Whether you’re driving over from Cape Coral, coming down from Estero, heading up from Bonita Springs, or right here in Fort Myers, you’re going to get the same thing: a personalized experience, a certified team, and results you’ll want to show off.
“I want clients and customers to feel like they’re walking into a family business. I want them to feel like they’re a part of our family. We want every customer that comes through the doors to feel truly welcomed.” states Chase Brzeczek, Co-Owner.
Our technicians are company-trained, our films are American-made, and every install is backed by a lifetime warranty. We keep the process simple: clear pricing, honest recommendations, and results that speak for themselves.

Commercial Window Tinting — Keep Your Building Cool & Costs Down
If you’ve got a commercial building in the area, you already know what the Florida sun can do to your energy bill. We work with business owners throughout Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, and Estero, and commercial window tinting is one of the smartest investments you can make for your property.
We install high-performance solar window film on storefronts, office buildings, and retail spaces, reducing heat gain, protecting interiors from UV damage, and improving the comfort of everyone inside. We’ll come assess your space, walk you through your options, and make sure the film we install makes sense for your building, your brand, and your budget. Just like with every client we work with, we’re not here to upsell you. We’re here to find the right solution.
Residential Window Tinting — Make Your Home More Comfortable
Your home should be your sanctuary, and residential window tinting can make a serious difference in how comfortable and private that sanctuary feels. We install residential window film for homeowners throughout the region, and some of our favorite projects have been right here in Cape Coral and Fort Myers, where the afternoon sun comes through the west-facing windows and turns a living room into a furnace.
Window film blocks UV rays, reduces heat transfer, protects your furniture and flooring from fading, and gives you more privacy without sacrificing natural light. It’s one of those upgrades that you wonder how you lived without once it’s done. We’ll walk you through the options, show you how the film performs in real conditions, and install it with the same care and precision we bring to everything.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What window tint film do you use, and does it come with a warranty?
We use U.S.-manufactured window film, made right in North Carolina, and we carry it for automotive, residential, and commercial installations. Every tint we install comes with a lifetime warranty. If you ever notice bubbling or any kind of defect, just bring your vehicle back and we’ll take care of it, no questions asked. The only things that void the warranty are rolling your windows down too soon after installation or physically gouging the film.
How is your window tinting process different from other shops?
We take the time to ask you the right questions before we ever recommend a film. Our sales manager Anthony will want to know what you’re driving, what your goals are, what your budget looks like, and how you feel about visibility at night. We’re not going to just throw prices at you. We want to put you in the tint that’s actually going to work best for your vehicle and your lifestyle.
What is the darkest legal window tint for cars and trucks in Florida?
In Florida, the darkest legal tint for sedans is 28% VLT (Visible Light Transmission) on front side windows and 15% VLT on rear windows.
Is ceramic window tint worth the investment for the Southwest Florida heat?
Yes, ceramic window tint is the most effective solution for the extreme heat in Fort Myers and Naples, as it blocks up to 99% of UV rays and significantly higher Infrared Heat (IR) than standard carbon films. At Black Optix Tint, our ceramic options keep your vehicle’s interior cooler and protect your dashboard from cracking under the Florida sun.
How long do I have to wait to roll down my windows after getting them tinted?
You should wait at least 3 to 5 days before rolling down your windows to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
How long does a full window tinting service take at Black Optix Tint in Fort Myers?
A professional full-vehicle tint for a car or truck typically takes between 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the vehicle size and film type. Black Optix Tint offers comfortable waiting areas and same-day appointments for customers in Cape Coral, Estero, and Bonita Springs and surrounding areas.
Does Black Optix Tint provide a warranty for bubbling or peeling window film?
Yes, Black Optix Tint offers an industry-leading lifetime warranty that covers bubbling, peeling, and color fading for as long as you own the vehicle.
Will window tint interfere with my car’s GPS, 5G signal, or Tesla Autopilot?
No, provided you choose Ceramic or Nano-Ceramic film. Unlike older “metallic” tints that can block radio waves, our advanced ceramic films at Black Optix are 100% signal-friendly. They ensure your 5G connectivity, GPS navigation, and Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) like lane-keep assist and emergency braking function with zero interference.
Does factory "privacy glass" on SUVs and trucks block heat and UV rays?
No, factory privacy glass is primarily a dark pigment inside the glass for privacy, offering almost no protection against Infrared (IR) heat or UV radiation. To truly cool your vehicle, we recommend adding a layer of clear or light-shaded Ceramic Tint over the factory glass. This provides the 99% UV protection and 90% heat rejection that standard factory glass lacks.
Can I tint my windshield legally in Florida to reduce dashboard heat?
According to Florida Statute § 316.2952, you can apply a non-reflective tint above the manufacturer’s AS-1 line (the top few inches). However, many SWFL drivers now opt for a Clear Ceramic Air-80 film for the entire windshield. This film is virtually invisible, keeping you within legal visibility standards while blocking a massive amount of solar heat and protecting your interior from the intense Florida sun.
Do you offer ceramic coating, and what does it protect against?
We do, and we’re really proud of this service. We’re certified through System X, which is our ceramic coating supplier. Ceramic coating creates a hydrophobic, UV-resistant, scratch-resistant layer over your vehicle’s paint or wrap. It keeps your finish looking brilliant, makes washing your car much easier, and significantly extends the life of any wrap underneath it. It’s not just for cars either. We can apply ceramic coating to outdoor furniture, marine surfaces, and more.
Do you serve customers outside of Fort Myers?
Absolutely. We work with clients from all over Southwest Florida, including Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Estero, and surrounding areas. Whether you’re coming to us for window tinting, a color change wrap, paint protection film, business branding, or anything else we offer, you’re welcome here. Give us a call or stop by the shop and we’ll take great care of you.
What makes Black Optix Tint different from other wrap shops in Southwest Florida?
We’re the only wrap shop in Southwest Florida with the 3M Preferred Color Change Wrap Installer certification. There are only nine of those certifications in all of Florida, and we have one of them. Beyond that, our designer Madison works directly with every client through the entire design process, so you’re never handed off to someone who doesn’t know your project. We also invest heavily in continuing education for our whole team, because we believe the standard of work we deliver is a direct reflection of the knowledge behind it.
Can my vehicle wrap be removed without damaging the paint?
Yes, and that’s actually something we’re very intentional about. We use a semi-permanent adhesive on all of our wraps so that when you’re ready to remove it, whether you’re selling the vehicle, rebranding, or just ready for a change, the wrap comes off cleanly without leaving adhesive behind or damaging your paint. A lot of budget wrap shops use permanent adhesive, which can be a real problem down the road.
